PARKING + Buses + MAPS
Free Parking is available for all volunteers in the Elk Lot with your event credential. The lot is located near the east entrance of Beaver Creek. If you’re coming from I-70, take the 4th roundabout and exit right onto Hwy 6. The Elk Lot entrance will be on your left.
- Before 7:00am: Drive straight in without taking a ticket.
- After 7:00am: Show your volunteer credential to the gate attendant to enter.
When possible, please prioritize parking on the South and North sides of the Elk lot, rather than the middle aisles.
Be kind and patient to the gate attendants as the day you engage with them may be the first day they are working.
If you have trouble exiting, press the call button on the parking column or contact Beaver Creek Dispatch at (970) 754-5848.
Please remember that parking passes are required for the parking garages in Beaver Creek Village (Ford Hall and Villa Montane). Gates will be closed, and no access will be possible without a pass.
Free Bus Service to Beaver Creek Village
Once parked, take the Beaver Creek Bus (green buses) from the Elk Lot to Beaver Creek Village. Buses run every 9 minutes, starting at 5:30am.
- Important Change: Starting Dec. 1, the bus drop-off will be at the Vilar Performing Arts Center (below the ice rink). Take the escalator up to the Beaver Creek Plaza level to reach the volunteer meeting spot.
Pro Tips:
- You can also take the Employee Buses.
- Lower lots are free if you park after 1:00pm.
- Carpool whenever possible, especially on race days.
- If the Elk Lot is full, you can park in another lot and pay the $10 fee. Your credential will only work for the Elk Lot.
All Stifel Birds of Prey Volunteers will be provided free parking in the Elk Lot.
