LODGING & TRANSPORTATION

Volunteers are responsible for arranging their own lodging and transportation to Beaver Creek. Many returning volunteers group together to share a condo or stay with friends in the valley. We also have a range of lodging offers available for all Stifel Birds of Prey volunteers, and have expanded options to include accommodations in Beaver Creek, Avon, Eagle, and Vail.

Our Housing Coordinator can assist in helping you find a place to stay. Please contact us via emailand we may be able to help you secure discounted rates, connect you with groups renting rooms, or suggest other lodging options.

There are a lot of places available and plenty of good deals to be had, especially with the event partner lodges. This year, several local lodges have generously offered special early season pricing to support our volunteers.

VOLUNTEER LODGING

Got a spare room? If you’re renting a condo and have extra space, let us know. We can help connect you with others who need accommodations.

Beaver Creek is accessible by both car and air. Most volunteers drive, which offers flexibility once you’re here, but we also have tips for those flying in.

  • Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE): Located about 30 minutes from Beaver Creek, this airport offers limited service, with United flights connecting through Denver and American flights from Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW).
  • Denver International Airport (DEN): About a 2 to 2.5-hour drive from Beaver Creek, DEN is a major hub airport with direct flights from many cities, often offering cheaper fares due to competition. Remain informed of road conditions on I-70 over the passes.
  • Epic Mountain Express offers transportation from both airports to Beaver Creek.

As a volunteer with the Stifel Birds of Prey, you are eligible for an Epic Mountain Express transportation code. To receive your code, please email [email protected].
