First time at the Birds of Prey World Cup or yearly visitor, there’s always something new and exciting to see or do during your visit. With an endless amount of accommodations to choose from, spacious condominiums to luxurious hotels, Beaver Creek is the place to kickoff winter this season.

Getting TO 

Beaver Creek Resort, is conveniently located adjacent to Interstate-70 in the heart of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Eagle County Airport is located just 30 minutes to the west while Denver International Airport resides two hours to the east via Interstate-70. Both airports offer services from most major rental car agencies.

Media and VIP Packets are available for pick up the week of the event at main registration located in Ford Hall (Park Hyatt) in Beaver Creek.

BEAVER CREEK PARKING  AVON PARKING & BUSES

Spectator parking is available in the resort parking lots at the base of Beaver Creek. Beginning on race days, regularly scheduled free shuttles will bring spectators to the Vilar Performing Arts Center and Birds of Prey Way expo area. Free race shuttles depart from the Covered Bridge, every 5-10 minutes throughout training and race days. Skis and snowboards are not permitted on the race shuttles.

From the race shuttle drop off location, there is a five-minute on-snow walk to Red Tail Stadium. Please allow one hour of travel time from the base of Beaver Creek Resort to Red Tail Stadium to avoid missing any of the action! ADA access to the venue is available on request. NEW This Year – Village Connect:

Village Transportation has been working on significant upgrades to the transportation services provided to the Beaver Creek Ski Resort communities.  Not only are they rebuilding the on-demand transportation, formerly “Dial-A-Ride”, services under the new name “Village Connect”, there have also been efforts to elevate the guest experience by providing real-time information on the status of the requested ride via a new mobile device app also named Village Connect.

Additionally, download the app to receive up to date information on timing for all Beaver Creek bus routes, including the shuttle to the race venue, listed under the Express tab in the App.

The Birds of Prey Racecourse has a mid-mountain finish and all race events are free and open to the public. Public concessions and restrooms are available. VIP accommodations may be purchased through a Community Hospitality Package sponsorship (limited availability), please call 970.777.2015 for more information.


In 2018 skiers/snowboarders will be able to ski to the venue via Red Tail and down from the stadium via Dally. To plan your route check out the Beaver Creek Resort trail map.

Beginner riders are recommended to take the shuttle to the race venue.

Lost and found items will be brought down from the race venue at the end of the day, and will be taken to the Beaver Creek Village lost and found. You can locate Beaver Creek lost and found on our event map.
