SKI TUNES & STORAGE
A sharp tune on your skis is crucial when you hit the course. The expectation is that you will show up with your skis course ready.
Two free ski tunes are made available for on-course Talon Crew volunteers during the event at Beaver Creek Sports, located at the base of the escalators in Beaver Creek Village. Simply show your Talon Crew volunteer credential to claim your tunes.
Details coming soon.
Important Reminder: Arrive with your skis already tuned and ready for the course. Conditions can be variable, with ‘bony spots’ that can be rough on skis and can result in core shots. Please come prepared!
For your convenience, free ski storage is provided at the Bird Bay (brown building next to Lift 6 Centennial Express). This is a self-service ski storage, open from 6:00 am to 5:00 pm. The door will be locked at night, and open and attended during the day.
- Limited Space: Storage is only for volunteers working the next day. Please don’t leave skis if you’re not volunteering in the next days.
- End-of-Event: All skis must be removed by Sunday, December 13, 2026.
- Tip: To avoid mix-ups and ‘ski swaps’, label your skis with your name (duct tape and a Sharpie work great!).
