JACKIE GREENE

Americana and roots singer-songwriter Jackie Greene is a versatile musician equally at home on soulful piano ballads or bluesy guitar solos, having served as lead guitarist for The Black Crowes and toured with legends like BB King and Mark Knopfler. His EP The Modern Lives – Vol 2 reflects a new chapter in his life—fatherhood, a cross-country move back to Northern California, and time off the road—blending bluegrass and folk influences with his signature Americana sound. Lead single “Crazy Comes Easy” showcases his multi-instrumental skills, while tracks like “Good Old Bad Times” and “Victim of the Crime” highlight his lyrical depth and heartfelt storytelling. Greene has also collaborated with Academy Award-nominated animator Bill Plympton on music videos that evolved into the animated short The Modern Lives, earning international festival acclaim. A relentless performer and collaborator, Greene continues to build his audience through solo tours, sit-ins with Phil Lesh & Friends, and performances with artists including Tedeschi Trucks Band, Gov’t Mule, and Bob Weir.
