Feature Film Screening ‘Mountains of the Moon’

Details

Chris Benchetler’s Mountains of the Moon hits the big screen with its Grateful Dead score played live by Ross James & Friends. Ross spent a decade as guitarist and singer in Phil Lesh & The Terrapin Family Band, and he’s joined by Alex Koford, Tyler Grant and Bill McKay. Shot almost entirely at night with lasers and projection mapping, the film turns oceans, rivers and mountains into a glowing dreamscape.
The night opens with student film premieres and closes with scholarships presented to local student-athletes from the Vilar stage. Then the band plays on.
Every ticket supports scholarships for Eagle River Valley student-athletes through the Bindu Sky Memorial Fund, a project of the Eagle Valley Community Foundation.
