FOOD & BEVERAGE
Keeping our Volunteer crew energized and hydrated throughout the event is a priority for the Stifel Birds of Prey event team, which is why we are investing in nutritious meals to offer our Volunteers daily.
Our F&B Crew works diligently to provide our volunteers with plenty of good quality food and hydration. Each day that you volunteer, you will receive breakfast or lunch depending on the time of your shift.
Please note: It is important to keep eating and hydrating during the day. It is encouraged that you bring your personal favorite snacks or energy bars with you to keep you going between meals. Due to the logistical complexity of this event, we are not able to accommodate special dietary or allergy needs. If you have special dietary needs, or have food allergies, you will need to provide your own food and/or beverages.
Start your day with a nutritious breakfast, available to volunteers with shifts starting before 8:15 AM at the Ford Hall in the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek (Powder 8 Restaurant, below Chair 6 Centennial Express).
Don’t forget to bring your volunteer credential to enjoy breakfast on the days you are volunteering. To-go containers are not permitted at the breakfast buffet. Thank you for enjoying your meal with us!
Breakfast will be served starting at the time listed on your schedule. Breakfast service ends at 7:45 AM. Please finish your meal and ensure the room is fully vacated by 8:00 AM. The space is used by others immediately afterward, so please do not leave any personal belongings behind.
Lunch will be served for volunteers scheduled for shifts of four hours or more falling during Lunch hours.
- For Volunteers working in the Race Finish Area, lunch will be available on the lower level of Talons Restaurant.
- For Volunteers working in Beaver Creek Village, lunch will be available in Ford Hall at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek.
Your Volunteer Coordinator will inform you of when you are able to take a break to enjoy lunch during your shift.
A plentiful supply of hot water, cold water, coffee, hot cocoa, and sports drinks will be available at the Powder 8 with refills available at Talons Restaurant.
We will not be providing any bottled water. Please bring your own reusable beverage container for water or Gatorade. Make sure you fill it up when you can and take it with you to your assigned area.
