VOLUNTEER HQ + Check in/Out

The VHQ is located at Ford Hall in Beaver Creek Village.  You will need to stop by VHQ prior to your first shift in order to pick up your uniform, credential and lift access pass. Ford Hall is conveniently located one level up from the Beaver Creek Village plaza level, just above the ice rink.

UNIFORM

Talon Crew volunteers will receive a weatherproof softshell winter ski jacket and hat with the Birds of Prey logo as part of your required four-day minimum volunteer commitment. There are both men’s and women’s sizing and styles. Jackets are distributed on a first come, first served basis. The earlier you are able to pick up your jacket, the better your chances of getting the size you desire. You will be able to try the jackets on for sizing when you pick your up.

Food & Beverage

The Food Services Crew works diligently to provide our volunteers with plenty of good quality food and hydration. Each day that you volunteer to be on course, you will receive breakfast and lunch.

PARKING, Buses & MAPS

Volunteers will park in the Elk Lot at the based of Beaver Creek. Learn more about where to park and how to find your way around Beaver Creek.

SKI TUNES & STORAGE

Once you get on course you will understand why a lethally sharp tune on your skis is so important. The expectation is that you will show up with your skis course ready. As a convenience for all on course volunteers, free ski storage is provided at the Bird Bay.

LODGING & TRANSPORTATION

Beaver Creek is very accessible either by car or air. Most people arrive by car, that way you have more flexibility once you are here.
