Please note: It is important to keep eating and hydrating during the day. It is encouraged that you bring your personal favorite snacks or energy bars with you to keep you going between meals. Due to the logistical complexity of this event, we are not able to accommodate special dietary or allergy needs. If you are a picky eater, have a special dietary need, or have any food allergies, you will need to provide food and/or beverages for yourself.
FOOD & BEVERAGE
We understand that providing good nutrition and hydration is critical to keeping our crew going. Our Food Services Crew works diligently to provide our volunteers with plenty of good quality food and hydration. Each day that you volunteer, you will receive breakfast or lunch depending on the start time of your shift.
On your scheduled volunteer days, if you have an early morning shift, we invite you to join us for breakfast. Breakfast will be served at the Powder 8 restaurant, located in Ford Hall. Please reference your daily shift email for more information on timing.
Lunch will be served on the lower level of Talons Restaurant for those volunteers scheduled in the race finish area and in Ford Hall at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek for those scheduled in Beaver Creek Village.
Lunch hours of operation:
- Daily at Talons Restaurant: 11am – 1:30pm
- Daily at Ford Hall: 11:30am – 2:30pm
Your volunteer coordinator will inform you of when you are able to take a break to enjoy lunch during your shift.
A plentiful supply of hot water, cold water, coffee, hot cocoa, and sports drinks will be available at the Powder 8 with refills available at Talons Restaurant. We will not be providing any bottled water.
Please bring your own reusable beverage container for water or Gatorade. Make sure you fill it up when you can and take it with you to your assigned area.
